We don't employ a staff, but rather are member-run. The bar is stocked and dinners are prepared by members.

Founded in 1985, Alameda Yacht Club (AYC) is a private, all-volunteer, yacht club located in Historic Fortman Marina, once home to the Alaska Packers Fishing Company from the early 1900's. AYC offers its members a wide variety of boating and social related activities that include dinners, cruise-outs, theme parties and organized sailboat racing. As an active member of the Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Assoc. (PICYA) we participate in many of their sponsored events throughout the year. Our Clubhouse has a full bar, commercial style kitchen, and a large deck overlooking the marina, which affords our members and guests a comfortable and friendly meeting place. We invite you to come visit and let us show you around the friendliest club on the Bay!
Every Day
Come down to the club and have an adult or other beverage with fellow club members and guests any day of the week. Check the schedule for special events. Every member has a key.
Wednesday and Friday Nights
Most Wednesday and Friday Nights one or more volunteer members will prepare dinner for the first 20-30 people to sign up. Cost is usually $10 or so. Details are posted in front of the club. Come, eat, drink, and be merry!
As Scheduled
Throughout the year there will be additional special events as scheduled. The flagship event is the Commodore's Ball held each November, but roughly once a month there will be another special event, often a fundraiser for a local charity. Come join the fun!
